Misplaced Object/New Home

So, I left my cell phone at my friends place on Friday morning.

Actually, I locked my cell phone in the house along with the house key. The problem is that I didn't realize this until I was halfway to my destination, which was some 60 miles away. I couldn't turn back because I had an appointment to sign my lease at my new apartment.

(Hits forehead with hand).

I can't go back and I'm going to spend the day without my cell phone (this is the first time since college that I lost or misplaced my phone). Later my friend calls my girlfriend and brings my phone to my girlfriend. So, I'll get it on Saturday or Sunday. Did I tell you how peaceful my day was without having a cell phone on me?

So, I get to the new apartment and I unloaded my car. I get back upstairs and I just passed out. I have wall-to-wall carpet so it was a soft landing. The rental office left me a six-pack of sprite in my fridge and left me a small gift basket on the counter. I thought that was nice.

So, I have a one-bedroom, with wall-to-wall carpet, brand-new applicances in the kitchen, a washer & dryer, a completely new bathroom and a sliding door that leads out to my deck from my bedroom. I'm a simple guy so I didn't need much.

So, It is only my name on the lease and no one can kick me out.

You hear that Ray?

Kiss my @#$%^& ass!

LMAO, go head, Sherlon. Congrats on the new place, "nothing like having your own" as my mother likes to say.

@chris...thanks...I got a great view...and a back deck too. I'll have pictures in an upcoming post.

@pops...it is hard out here in Jersey to find a decent place that isn't way over priced.

Congrats.

I can only imagine what it must be like to have a whole day without the self phone, must have been pure bliss. Sometimes its nice to just be.

@elle willa....I now live in Ocean County.

@cnel...Yeah. Not having the tracking device for one day wasn't such a bad thing.

Congrats on having your own space. Just imagine, there was a time when cells didn't exist!

@jameil...I have pics of the apartment that I'm going to upload very soon...the bedroom to the small deck is tight...to bad the view isn't too thrilling but still.

@ladynay...Peace and quiet. That's what you get with having your own place. I'm lovin' it.
