This year, the first in a very long time, I'll have a Valentine's Day worth anticipating and worth remembering.
I was having a conversation with the g/f the other day and I asked a simple question.
Me: So, what are you getting me for Valentine's Day?
Her: Umh...Valentine's Day is not about the guy.
Me: (Laughs)...O.K...I was just checking.
Although it was a joke, I wouldn't mind if she got me something. However, I'm not expecting
anything since she stated...."it is not about the guy." So, fellas remember Feb. 14th isn't about you. It is all about her and don't pick any fights with her cause this is one of those days that you just can't win.
Well, I have to work on Valentine's Day...so we are celebrating a day earlier. It is good to know I have an understading woman in my life. Please believe every brother needs that.

@ms. complexity...I'm covering high school basketball for my paper...so the beat practically DEMANDS all my time. It is our bread and butter sport in the winter. So, the personal blog has been neglected. I'm sorry gotta make that paper.
Yes. Over the Christmas break...we made it official that we're an item. She's such a wonderful person.
V day is all about the ladies, so I hope you showed her a wonderful time! and if she got something for you, that's an added bonus

LoL, I'm with J, I was reading this and said to myself, oh word. I figured something or someone was keeping you busy.
@cnel...I'll get back on the blogging grind real soon...waiting till basketball season is over. I've been working my ass off since Dec. 15 and basketball season ends in early March.
