Community Service?

Even if you are a staunch supporter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., you have wonder what in the @#$% world would cause a group of young women to act this way.

I commend J. Samuel Cook for mostly keeping his composure in this ordeal because if that was me I would have come out of my skin.

Seriously, what the @#$%^ was that?

It certainly wasn't community service. Not to J. Samuel Cook. Not to Alcorn State. And certainly not to the AKA organization.

Also, did the members of the Gamma Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at Alcorn State really think a reporter wasn't going to inform the world of these Soprano-like tactics?

This is the type of publicity you TRY TO AVOID if you are under investigation.

When I saw this I was taken aback, I'm thinking is this forreal, made me think to "The Pelican Brief" or some other legal dramas. He makes me wish I were a lawyer so I could take his school to town.

I think Cook is brave for doing this, and covering an important story. It's so important for us to get a sense of what organizations of significance are doing in the community, so that they can be held accountable.

My stance on Greek life is that they're studio gangsters, but I digress. He is a brave journalist for undertaking that story, and nothing but props goes to him and BCW for publishing it because people need to know about this kind of insanity.

He is definitely brave. Those women are a disgrace to their sorority for behavung in such a manner. If you disagree with what he says, there are much more classier ways of handling it.
