Essence's 30 Dates in 30 Days (Part 4)

Michelle is on centerstage on Essence now.

Michelle is the 4th contestant on the 30 dates in 30 days show. So, now I'm in favor of cutting back to three dates each for the first round and then one final date. The series is dragging a bit for me but I'm still watching...not as much as before though.

Michelle is blogging about her dates too.

My observations from her first three dates.

Evan: He made a mistake when he insulted her by saying "only children tend to be stalkers". He did talk too much about himself and didn't give her a chance to express herself. He is the first man in the series to say "he wouldn't" go on a second date and the woman said she would. Interesting.

Chris: It is me or does anyone else think it is too eerie when you have TOO much in common with someone. I lose the appeal for someone if we are too much a like. I need something that makes us different people. Is it me or does anyone else think when you have to ask "are you having a good time" the answer is usually no. If you are having a good time and she's having a good time...her body language and her conversation should be the best signals. Why did he pause and get all dramatic for every question she asked?

Jumanee: The best date for Michelle and she can probably stop with the series now. She already indicated strongly that she likes him the best now the other two guys are behind the 8-ball. I don't believe him when he said he didn't read Michelle's blog entries but he had his friends read it off the screen for him. He was smooth and let her be herself. That's what a woman wants.

P.S...Essence kill the repetitive intro before each date or at least change the ad. Thanks.

this may surprise you, but... i agree. 3 dates is plenty to choose from. and i'm def sick of the same intro & commercial. i was over the commercial after day 4.

evan... didn't like him. i was really through when he said he didn't want a 2nd date. who says that? keep it to yourself. people had 5 mins to get an impression of you, don't do it. the date w/chris did NOT hold my attention. w/jumanee, adorable.

LoL.

The intro does need to go or be changed.

Evan surprised me too by being the first guy to say he didn't want to do the second date.

I'm glad Michelle found Jumanee.

@jameil1922...yeah you surprised me...but the man needs to be honest...he didn't want to waste Michelle or the viewers' time.

@cnel...i so agree.

i'm not sure how he could've answered that but the way he did it was cold.
