The Pledge of a Lifetime...(Part 6)

I have never thought being single could be so much fun.

In the past month, I've seen 3 college basketball events (the Coaches vs Cancer, the Jimmy V Classic and the SEC/Big East Invitiational). I've seen Race on Broadway. I've seen a NJ Nets basketball game. I've seen movies such as the Blind Side, Precious, Armoured, Still Bill, Law Abiding Citizen. I've been to a birthday party/house warming for a friend. I've gone Bull Riding. I've also co-hosted a game night at a pool hall.

To say, I've been crisscrossing New Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia would be a huge understatement. I'm loving it.

Of course, being so active has a few pitfalls like bumping into people you've lost contact with for good or bad reasons. I've already told you about her, and then I bump into someone I met in the summer of 2008 at the NJ Nets game. She still remembered me and we had a great conversation. She wants to hang out again. We'll see if this has any life to it...but I'm not holding my breath.

And in case you are wondering...I've done all these events with friends (some male and some female). No dates. Everyone paid their own way. Everyone had a blast. I'm closing out 2009 on a roll and I love it.

5 weeks down. 54 weeks to go.
