On Monday, Aug. 9, "Ms. S" called me again. Our last interaction didn't go over quite so well. So, I was really never expecting to hear from her again.
I was on the phone with my boy talking about my birthday plans for the weekend and I get that call waiting beep in my ear. I pulled the phone away from my ear to check the screen and "Ms. S's" cell phone number is flashing on my screen. I took a deep breath and answered the call.
She was surprised I answered since it was like 11:30 p.m. and I was returning home from a networking event. I clicked back over to my boy and told him I would call him back since I figured it would be a long phone conversation.
It was.
We exchanged recaps of how our lives have gone since the breakup. I told her that I missed her and I haven't stopped thinking about her since she called me back in June. We agreed to meet up at some point next weekend. I told her that I would call her during the middle of the week to schedule something.
I called. No call back. I sent her an e-mail. No response. I sent her a text. No response. I called one more time and left a very direct message to call me back and she finally responds via e-mail talking about "you sound busy we should cancel."
LOL. I just shook my head and cussed under my breath.
Was this finally it? or will there be a part 4?
