My follow up e-mail conversation with Stella....
Me: You whispered in my ear that you were celebrating your birthday at the Hyatt Regency's bar last Thursday night. I also shocked you when I told you that I was 25-years-old. I'll have to say that was one of my most interesting encounters while attending the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Atlanta last week. I wanted to see how your birthday celebration turned out?
Stella: Pay no attention to my "shock" upon you telling ME Your age.......my judgment was questionable, at best, due to the fine wine ....and turning... 49. Thanks for the follow up, my birthday celebration turned out GREAT!!
Me: Also, was that really your son sitting in the chair?
Stella: NO........although I do have two sons, 30 and 27.

LOL her sons are older than you. Thats pretty crazy. She was turning 49....wow It leads me to ask what the facination is that men have with older women. How is it flattering that a woman with 20-some more years experience comes on to you. Im not hating. Really, I am genuinely curious. Please school me someone.

Why men love older women?
I think it is for the same reasons why women flock to older men.
1) They know what they want in life.
2) More experience in extracurricular activities
3) People our age are probably not as mature.
