I'm short on time...so this entry will not be too long.
Day 3 started with a trip back to Santa Monica and I had lunch with a buddy at Yangtze Restaurant in Santa Monica at the third street promenade. He told me about his adjustment to the West Coast and we talked about a few things. We met up at the UNITY convention in July but it was good breaking bread with another brother in the industry. Ms. Sher-bear ate at Fatburger while we had lunch and she did some window shopping too.
After lunch, we drove to Hollywood Boulevard again but parked the car this time. We walked down Hollywood boulevard as I took pictures of different stars. I saw Cuba Gooding, Jr.'s star, Sean "P-Diddy/Puffy/Diddy" Combs' star, Halle Berry's star and Jamie Foxx's star. Actually, Berry's and Foxx's stars are right next to each other just outside the Kodak Theatre. We eventually ended up at the Hollywood Mall and we did a little shopping. I was dying for some ice cream and she told me that Cold Stone Creamery makes the best ice cream in the world. I had my doubts but I thought I would give it a shot. Well, she picked a winner and even fed me some of her ice cream. It was definitely a Kodak moment...you just had to be there. We drove home after that and finished watching the last 30 minutes of "I Am Legend."
Day 4, the final day, started with another trip to Norms Restaurant. We had another amazing breakfast and we came back to the house after that. Ms. Sher-Bear took a nap and I got on my computer to check e-mail and my fantasy sports teams. After she woke up from her nap, she took me to a nail salon as we BOTH got manicures and pedicures. I have never had a manicure or pedicure before and I still can't believe I did it. I didn't think it was really something that men do. I guess Ms. Sher-bear is having an effect on me. We went home after that and Ms. Sher-Bear cooked me this amazing dinner. To thank her, I washed the dishes. After dinner, we watched "Juno" and I had never seen this movie before but it was hilarious. Well...I get on a 8:35 a.m. Wednesday flight back to New Jersey. I'm leaving Los Angeles a changed man.
