They are the three most important people in my life.
I'm talking about my mother, my father and my sister.
I'm always thankful that I can spend a Thanksgiving weekend with them.
I'll start with my mother.
I don't know another mother on the planet that works harder than she does. She doesn't have much but always makes sure that I have plenty. She still doesn't have a cell phone but appreciates it when I take the time to call. I think it is cute when she asks about my love life (I think that's her subtle hint that she's ready for grandchildren) and i tell her the truth. I'm still waiting to find a woman to make the queen of my kingdom. She always says that she's going to pray for me. Did you expect anything less? I didn't because I've seen this warm spirit since I was a child.
I'll continue with dad.
He's the second hardest worker I know. I get my good looks, brains, charm and sense of humor from my pops. He's a terrible shopper but still thinks he's a comedian when he's cracking jokes with the salespeople. I gave him that "cut it out" look and almost didn't buy him that pair of sneakers. I got him a new pair of sneakers and I got myself a new pair too. He's always the voice of reason I can turn to when I need advice. He wasn't that good at sports but loved wrestling and turned me in a WCW (World Championship Wrestling) and WWF (World Wrestling Federation) now WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) fan. I can't watch wrestling now because I know IT IS FAKE but the memories come back every time I see a billboard. Thanks for the everlasting moments.
I'll finish with my sister
We called a truce a few years back. For a while, we were sworn enemies. The game "I Declare War" had a literal meaning to our relationship. We've patch things up. We speak at least once a day now. She's become the little sister that I've always wanted. She's still very stubborn but at least she'll listen to me now before making decisions. I've taken her under my wing and shown her how to fly. Now, we have to work on her landings because they are often rocky. She has the street smarts that my father instilled in us but she often uses it from the wrong things. I'm still praying about that. She's very consistent. She always hits me up for $$$ when I come home and always asks in a sweet voice. Thanks for letting me be a mentor.

Nice post
My brother and I are not that close. We are 5 years apart. I think when we get older and he matures a little we may become closer. I guess I will see.
My sister and I are six years apart so that's probably why we had a rift growing up.
Yay for being thankful for family..I heart my mommy more than words could ever show, even though we have our moments it's all love
@Diamondsr4eva...I feel you so much on that.
