Time to invent the Remix (Part 6)

In the second half of June and most of July, I was on the move.
  • I broke my streak of going to the movies solo. First on July 7, I went to see Public Enemies. The film had its good moments but overall, I wasn't impressed. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't pay to see it. Since I got in for free, I didn't feel I lost anything by going to see it. I also went to the movies with friends on July 13 to see the Proposal, which screamed chick flick to me. Surprisingly, the movie was very good and Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds nailed their characters. Not exactly Academy Award material but an extremely funny movie and well worth it alone for the accidental shower scene. lol.

  • You may not believe this but I had a blast going to Six Flags for the second time this summer. I went in May with one set of friends but didn't get a chance to get on all the roller coasters. I went again on July 19 with another set of friends and got on more roller coasters. I still haven't gone on the Dark Knight, El Toro and Kingda Ka. I'm planning to make one more trip in September or October.

  • I made an impromptu visit to Baltimore on Sunday, July 12. I've always wanted to visit B-more, the home of the Wire, but never had a good reason to come on down from New Jersey. So, I decided to gas up the car and make a 2-hour and 30 minute road trip. I toured downtown Baltimore and the inner harbor. I got a chance to see the Baltimore Orioles home, Oriole Park at Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium, the home of the Baltimore Ravens. I also walked around the Inner Harbor and visited the shopping mall in downtown. I was supposed to have drinks with a buddy of mine but he got off work too late so I decided to hit the road a little early.

Roller coasters don't excite me like they used to so you can have all that.

I had the urge just this morning to take a random trip. I don't know where to though.

As for your other post. I've never pulled a backround check on anybody so I can't answer.

@Ladynay...since I don't go to the amusement park that often...I still get a thrill out of them. Take the trip. I took a random trip three weeks ago.

If I would have known you were in Baltimore, I could have shown you around! You needed to visit the world famous Lexington Market!
