The Nation Report (Offseason, Part 12)
Today, The Boston Red Sox traded right-handed pitcher Bronson Arroyo (pictured above) to the Cincinnati Reds for outfielder Wily Mo Pena (also pictured above).
On Sunday, the Red Sox signed outfielder Juan Gonzalez to a minor league deal.
@profesorgq....easy now...Congrats to the White Sox on the World Championship but think of this as an UNO game and 'round these parts...THE COLOR IS RED!
@DL Sands...I guess this is insurance if Trot Nixon gets injured again. Nixon is 31-years-old and I believe is a free agent after this season. Wily Mo can rake but strikes out a lot. If they put him like 5-6-7 in the order, he could do some damage.

Wily Mo: Baseball player or bad rap name? I'll let Manny take him under his wing and see what happens.
