Today, Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz (bottom photo) signed a four-year, $50-million contract extension through 2010.
In other news, Coco Crisp (top photo) hurt his finger and will be out at least 10 days. The Red Sox also signed Crisp to a three-year, 15.5 million contract extension through 2009 with a team option for 2010.
