Patriots Act (Offseason, Part 4)

So, Deion Branch's holdout has reached the umpteeth
day and now the New England Patriots have said to
Branch and his agent..."find a new home if you can...
but you must do it before Sept. 1st"


This could get very interesting with the start of the NFL season less than 2 weeks away.

Well, the deadline came and went for Deion Branch to find a suitable trading partner for the Patriots.

The Patriots rejected the trade proposals that Branch found and then he filed for a grievance.

The situation is getting testy.

It looks like Branch will get his hearings (just not as soon as he expected), according to the Boston Globe. You can read the update here.

The hearing isn't necessary as the Patriots traded Branch to the Seattlehawks for a 2007 first round pick.
