When does this get old?
I'm talking about male television reporters proposing on air to their unsuspecting girlfriends.
At least the dude I introduced to you a while ago was smooth with his unoriginal proposal but this new dude that I'm putting on blast today just fumbled his way to a "Yes".
Absolutely terrible....

Thanks for adding my crazy blog to your list! I shall be doing the same.
I will MOS DEF be in Vegas. Are you kidding me? I LOVED this convention. There could have been 100 of us and I would have been estatic.
To quote Bernie Mac, "I love mah peoples!" Y'all have to come live where I live for a WEEK and y'all would be begging for at least another Black person to be by your side!! Ha ha!
Hopefully next time we can go out for dinner... I'm not into parties/clubs but I'm down for dinner.
The first one you brought to us (with the brother and the pretty Latina... was that brother in Indy?) was very sweet. Then again I'm biased because they mutually profess their love for God, which I hold in high esteem.
Any other on-air proposals just gets really stale.
P.S. I will definately tell you when I make my grand arrival in the good ol' U.S. of A!
@solitaire...no problem on the adding the blog. I like your style and I think others will enjoy your work too. As far as I know, Fred wasn't in Indy. I need to visit Canada. I use to live in upstate New York and I said to myself that I would visit Montreal or Toronto. The trip never materialized when I was there but maybe I could do that for my birthday next year or something. Which city is better?
huh uh. i need you to come w/that original, original if you tryin to propose to me. no tv, no jumbotron, none of that. i need a good story to tell our kids.
LOL wellllll he was just nervous. It won't get old. People are so fascinated with other people's lives, and in some cases, these reporters/anchors are like local celebrities. So the more they find out, the happier viewers are.
His proposal was weak. He needed to step his game up.

Toronto all the way. Although you can go to Montreal and not know a lick a French and still survive.
But Toronto... well, I'm biased, because that's MY CITY. Certain times of the year are great (NOT wintertime). I recommend summertime because there are so many things to do.
There are certain sections of the city that you can explore... Little Italy, the Danforth (predominately Greek), Chinatown, Jarvis St (little India)... whoa!
We'll talk more about it later.
Yea it's getting old, but I guess it's the only way some people have to share it with the masses. It's the best way to get it on videotape for those who aren't there.
@journiemajor....nervous...the dude was SHOOK. He couldn't even find his live shot with any professionalism and you gotta love how the station couldn't even spell the name of the Panthers home stadium correctly. It is Bank of America Stadium...not Bank of AMERICAN stadium.
I visited Charlotte once (this summer in fact) and I could get that correct on the first try.
