Disclaimer: I have a GIGANTIC assist on this next entry and it goes to this woman.
If you don’t know about this already, I’m alerting you to a scandal before God. The following video is a Republican National Committee advertisement for Tennessee Republican Bob Corker’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. Only in America and only in the South would absolute bullshit like this pass for acceptable campaigning. I don’t live in Tennessee, an ultra conservative state, but I have even greater respect for democratic challenger Harold Ford Jr. for not stooping to Corker’s racist level with an advertisement like this. If Ford did win this race, he would be the first black senator since Reconstruction to make it to the U.S. Senate from the South.
Seriously?
Yes.
THE FIRST BLACK SENATOR SINCE RECONSTRUCTION TO MAKE IT TO THE U.S. SENATE FROM THE SOUTH!
I took American history so long ago that I honestly forgot the time frame of the Reconstruction period. So, I looked it up. The answer is 1862-1877.

WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG.
don't call that southern exposure. nc is a conservative state, too but charlotte is great! i'd rather the overt racism than that semi-hidden bs up north. that is the worst. thanks for the shout! :D
@solitaire...Unfortunately, this is the kind of stuff that is tolerated in the South.
@jameil1922...No problem.
