On Independence Day, I was invited to speak to 18 minority high school students.
The students attend various high schools in New Jersey.
The Hugh N. Boyd Minorities Journalism Workshop was conducted at Monmouth University .
I gave them tips on how to become good sports reporters and editors. I think I made a good impression because several students spoke to me privately and said they enjoyed my lesson. Hmm...This experience makes me wonder if I should get that Masters Degree so I can teach journalism after my reporting career is over.

This is cool man. Good for you. Reminds me how we had some ex pro ballers come to my school and let me tell you, not only did we learn something but they issued their own special brand of discipline ASAP when someone started acting up. Better control than any teacher ever had.
sp loves the kids ;-)

@daddy's girl...I'm going to look into teaching a few classes at one of the local colleges or something. Good idea....
You should. Teach a class at a junior college...while still doing your full-time gig.
