Def Comedy Jam returns....

I need to stop bullshitting and get HBO.

I work evenings and I rarely get a chance to watch television.

However, if the clip in this entry is an example of what I'm missing on the new season of Def Comedy Jam, I need to man up and spend those dollars even for one show.

I've never heard of this dude Capone but the man's delivery is solid.

The first episode was only OK. This guy was the funniest out of everyone.

I'm hoping tomorrow's episode will be better...I had high hopes!!

I want HBO for a different reason, "The Wire", this doggone college cost upwards of $40,000 they can give us HBO. I'm thinking of starting a petition, give us, us, us free!

What happened to the Bad Boys of Comedy? Def Comedy Jam is pretty good, but I think that Mike Epps needs to go. Now. I watched his last HBO special for about ten minutes before I switched it off in disgust. I'm catching up on "The Wire" now before I watch the new season. It's a thing of beauty. Really.

what is this show "The Wire"?

Sherlon! Please tell me you're joking. If not, I can tell you it's definitely the best show you've never heard of. It's basically about a long-term criminal investigation in Baltimore, covered thoroughly from all angles. It's brilliantly acted and the writing's even better. Get yourself to Netflix and watch the series from the beginning (what I'm doing right now) and you will become a fan. Trust me.

No. I'm not joking. Right now...I'm a HUGE Nip/Tick fan but I'll look into "The Wire!"

It has been pretty funny. They have Vet's gracing the stage, so that has made me watch it. Although, I must admit that Earthquake wasn't that funny last night.

I'm with Chanel (what up, girl!)...The Wire = The Best Thing on TV...and there's a lot of great shit out right now, Nip/Tuck among them.

Capone's dope. He's a self-described King of NY Comedy or something like that, along with a few others. I'm skeptical, but I'll watch since you have gone as far as immortalizing it in a blog. ;)
