The Buffalo Bills forced Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to fumble on the first play from scrimmage and subsequently scored. The Buffalo Bills also held a 10-point lead at halftime but the Patriots rallied for the 19-17 victory.
Patriots defensive end Ty Warren (pictured on the left) came through with the play of the game as he sacked Bills quarterback J.P. Losman in the end zone late in the fourth quarter. Tom Brady's third-quarter 17-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Faulk started the comeback and then Stephen Gostkowski's fourth quarter 32-yard field goal tied the game.
Overall, Brady (11-for-23, 163 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT) had a pedestrian game and the two-tier running back system of Corey Dillon (16 rushes, 73 yards) and Lawrence Maroney (17 rushes, 86 yards) performed well.
