Essence Music Festival 2010 (Part 3)

So, I bought tickets to the Friday and Saturday night concerts.

Here are the lineups.

FRIDAY, JULY 2
Main Stage = Janet Jackson, Raphael Saadiq, Charlie Wilson and Monica
Super Lounges = Mary Mary, Irving Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Chrisette Michele, Irma Thomas, Arrested Development, Big Sam's Funy Nation, WAR and Ruben Studdard and Little Freddie King.

SATURDAY, JULY 3
Main Stage = Alicia Keys, Gladys Knight & The Pips, LL Cool J and Keri Hilson.
Super Lounges = Joe, Rebirth Brass Band, Mint Condition, Leo Jackson & Melody Clouds, Laura Izibor, Sam & Ruby, De La Soul, Soul Rebels Brass Band.

I bought the tickets on Friday mainly to hear Janet Jackson. I wouldn't mind hearing Mary Mary, Chrisette Michele, Monica and Ruben Studdard too. But Janet is the reason I'm going on Friday night.

I bought the tickets on Saturday mainly to hear Alicia Keys (pictured above). Now, Keys recently confirmed she's pregnant and it makes me nervous she might cancel her performance. I'm crossing my fingers she doesn't because she's the reason I'm going on that Saturday night. But I can understand if she does. I wouldnt mind hearing LL Cool J, Keri Hilson, Joe and De La Soul on Saturday night too.

But Alicia please don't cancel...I don't care if you sit at the piano and don't move an inch. I just want to hear you perform "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)"
