Red Sox starting pitcher Matt Clement (pictured on the left) hangs his head in the dugout after the Sawx got blasted 14-2 by the Chicago White Sox in game 1 of the American League Division Series in Chicago on Tuesday.
Clement was terrible (3.1 IP, 7 H, 8 ER, 0 BB, 0 K, 3 HR) and the bullpen wasn't that much better (5.3 IP, 4H, 6 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 2 HR).
FYI.
The last time the Red Sox were pounded by a double-digit margin in a postseason game, they won eight straight games that culminated into a World Series title.
