The Patriots are off this week but linebacker Tedy Bruschi (seen above) returned to practice on Oct. 19, just eight months after having a mild stroke. Bruschi was cleared by his doctors to begin practicing, but the Patriots left it up to Bruschi and his family to determine when he would return. Bruschi was one of the defensive stars on a team that has won three Super Bowl titles in the last four seasons. The Patriots are 3-3 so far this season and have allowed 27.3 points per game, most in the AFC.
AFC East Standings
Patriots 3-3
Bills 3-4
Dolphins 2-4
Jets 2-5

Bruschi better go sit down somewhere before his brian falls out!!!
If he's got doctor's clearance, then I guess it's all good, but I just hope and pray that nothing bad happens. If he indeed is fine, the Patriots' D gets a big boost, and the AFC East will be right back to where it's been the last few years...a battle for second place.
Sigh.
And what about the Lions little to-do yesterday? Have you nothing to say about it? (NOTE: I am NOT a Lions fan. I just live here.)
the Lions need a real quarterback and some receivers that want to catch the football
I would love it if athletes would stop abusing their bodies when their bodies begin to ask them to stop. A stroke? Your body asking you to stop. Its like these 300+ lb. football players that continue to play despite the fact that others have died. I love football, but life is more important. Especially because Bruschi has 3 children. Selfish and stupid.
Bruschi will be alright...
