New England Partriots linebacker Willie McGinest (No. 55 in bottom photo) recorded 4 1/2 sacks (a postseason record) to lead the defense and quarterback Tom Brady (top photo) threw three touchdown passes (tied his playoff career high) to lead the offense. New England trounced Jacksonville, 28-3, in Foxborough, Mass. on Saturday night.
The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in the other AFC wildcard game on Sunday and as a result of that, the Patriots will travel to Denver and the Steelers will visit the Colts.

@Dizy-it was too cold for those Jacksonville Dudes. They couldnt run their plays for their teeth chattering!
@SpChrist-That game was BONKERS! Dudes they snatched off the T, suited up and made touchdowns! I was like, "Who is NUMBER 84!??!?!" Dont know him from Adam, but he made a touchdown GO PATS!!!! SoulGlo and OldManWinter (McGinest and Dillon) were knocking it out, too.
Say, are you allowed to be a Yankee fan and a Pats fan at the same time???LOL
this game deserves as much props as my panthers annihilating the giants today. *yawn* can i get a real playoff game please? but i can't tell you how happy i was to be able to watch my panthers from my own damn couch!! and can the analysts at espn now finally do what they should've done a long time ago and admit eli manning w/his 4 turnovers is OVERRATED!! i almost had to jump thru the screen at mel kiper the other night callin mike vick the most overrated player in football. B*TCH!! i'm sorry. i'll try to calm down.
i want cincy to win, too b/c marvin lewis is sexy, chad johnson is funny, and i love watching the horror on steeler fan faces when they lose! lol!! i know i'm evil, but that ish is funny. plus i can't stand "big ben." that loser.
Jameil...they're gonna run you out of Pittsburgh you keep playing, LOL.
As far as New England beating Jacksonville, the Jags brought that on themselves by not starting David Garrard at quarterback.
@dizyboy...the Patriots will play anyone, anytime and any place.
@chezniki...you're going to hell for that comment
@jameil1922...Vick is the most overrated player in the NFL...how many division titles has his team won, how many playoff games has his team won, how many rings does his team have? The answer when it comes to Vick is ALWAYS NO.
