Celebrity Hit List (Actress Edition)

If you don’t know what a hit list is, I’m not going to tell you.
Sanaa Lathan (born Sep. 19th 1971 in NYC)
Her movie credits include the Wood (1999), the Best Man (1999), Love & Basketball (2000), Brown Sugar (2002) and Out of Time (2003).
Comments: Doesn’t the top photo say it all? She is absolutely scrumptious. Lathan is a rising star in Hollywood and I swear she gets finer by the movie. I’m torn between which movie I think was better (Love & Basketball or Brown Sugar) but hands down one of my all-time favorite scenes is when she challenges Omar Epps (what a dumb motherf#cker for dogging her out) to a game of 1-on-1 for his heart. She’s the total package (great body, great smile, long hair and luscious lips) and we would make fine children together.

Wendy Raquel Robinson (born July 25th 1967 in Los Angeles)
Her movie credits include A Thin Line Between Love and Hate (1996), Two Can Play That Game (2001). Her television show credits include The Steve Harvey Show (1996-2002).
Comments: She’s had supporting roles in decent movies and is most famous for her role as “Principal Regina Grier” on the Steve Harvey Show. Her voice is sexy and there is something about a woman in a business suit that I can’t resist.

Nicole Ari Parker (born Oct. 7th 1970 in Baltimore)
Her movie credits include Boogie Nights (1997), Remember the Titans (2002), Brown Sugar (2002). Her television show credits include Soul Food (2000-2004).
Comments: I don’t care that Boris Kodjoe has wifed her up or that she’s carrying his child. Parker is still a MILF in my opinion. Her best movie role was playing “Reese Mari Wiggam Ellis” a.k.a. Taye Diggs’ wife in Brown Sugar and she’s involved in one of my all-time funniest scenes. She is most famous for her role as “Teri Joseph” on the HBO series “Soul Food.” I don’t know if she wears color contacts but I could be hypnotized by her eyes easily.

Nia Long (born Oct. 30th 1970 in Brooklyn)
Her movie credits include the Boyz ‘N the Hood (1991), Friday (1995), Love Jones (1997), Soul Food (1997), the Best Man (1999).
Comments: She rocks the short hair cut better than any black woman in Hollywood. I’m still jealous of Lorenz Tate (rumors have persisted for years that these two were closer than looks appear) for the best all-time black love scene in Love Jones. She talks eloquently, walks graciously and is the type that you could bring home to mom.

Halle Berry (born August 14th 1966 in Cleveland)
Her movie credits include Jungle Fever (1991), Strictly Business (1991), The Last Boy Scout (1991), Boomerang (1992), Losing Isaiah (1995), Why Do Fools Fall in Love (1998), Monster’s Ball (2001).
Comments: She’s the first $20 million per movie black actress in Hollywood and worth every cent. She’s had good roles in some classics and we all know that she won the Oscar for her role opposite Billy Bob Thornton in Monster’s Ball. I still vomit profusely when I see that love scene between her and Thornton but I understand sometimes you have to play the controversial role.
Her only character flaw is that she’s got absolutely dreadful taste in men but that would change when she becomes Mrs. Christie.

Others receiving votes:

Gabrielle Union, Michael Michelle, Kerry Washington, Eva Mendes, Elise Neal, , Tamala Jones, Victoria Rowell, Diane Lane, Meagan Good, and Lisaraye McCoy

Well unless she's pregnant again, Nicole Ari Parker had the baby quite a while ago. September I think, and she was goregous, I don't like one of her names though. If I find the picture again I'll send it to you, LOL!! And it's interesting that you'd say Diane Lane, unless that's a typo. Not that there's anything wrong with it, you just never struck me as the type to go for a white woman, or an older woman, and most definitely not an older white woman. http://www.moono.com/html/diane-lane/diane-lane-pictures.cfm

@jameil1922...Yes. Diane Lane is a white actress and no it is not a misprint. As you may have noticed 94 percent of the women that I mentioned were black, one latino (Eva Mendes) and the aformentioned Diane Lane. She's been in Murder at 1600 (with Wesley Snipes)in 1997 and Unfaithful (with Richard Gere) in 2002. I know she's 40ish but I saw some love scene with her in a movie (which escapes me now) and I've been hooked.

@ejoy...glad i was able to refresh your memory

@cnel...you must be kidding with this reagan gomez-preston? Dawg she wouldn't even make it on my ballot. I need an accomplished female actress. The Robert Townsend show wasn't even that funny to me and her character was stale.

@journiemajor...I didn't know Nicole Ari Parker had the baby already...either way Boris better not f%#k that up!

@j montez@Tamala needs to land a solid role before i bump her up and give her a picture and caption.

I think Diane Lane is a great actress..in fact she stars in one of my all-time favorite movies "Under The Tuscan Sun," and I think she's really a very pretty lady.

Funny list tho...

There is something wrong with her eyes....so no thanks.

OK, so you just made a list of, pretty much, all the famous female black actors in our age bracket (some older). Can I get anything innovative? C'mon SP!! I want to see the "underrated" list!
