My roadtrip with someone famous

I had to see this for myself.

I heard the rumors.

I saw the pictures.

I needed my 20-10 vision to verify that Kyla Pratt's look-a-like hopped out of the 14-foot U-Haul truck and gave me a hug on Friday night. (I'm withholding the true indentity of Kyla Pratt's look-a-like but the real KYLA PRATT is smiling in the picture above).

I had a quick conversation with Kyla's look-a-like about her trip. She then followed me to my place and we chilled for the night. We left for Providence, R.I. at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Kyla Pratt's look-a-like rented the U-Haul truck from hell. The shitty truck kept stalling out and refusing to go over 55 m.p.h. We stopped twice to call U-Haul's emergency road service number and stopped once at a U-Haul repair center.

We were determined to make it to Providence and we finally did at 6:30 p.m. and we were exhausted. We found some morsels of energy to unloaded the truck by ourselves by 7:15 p.m. and then Kyla Pratt's look-a-like treated me to dinner.

At 8 p.m., we had a visit from Kyla Pratt's look-a-like's next door neighbor. Her neighbor should have a show on Comedy Central. I haven't laughed so hard at a comedy routine since seeing the Original Kings of Comedy. We needed the laughs after a long day on the road.

Nah homey...the truck was possessed by the devil or something.

Yeah our little friend resembles Ms. Kyla. She is also a sweet young lady. We need to take her out to Jovan's!

At least now you can cross off "meet someone famous" from your list of things to do before you die. Glad I could help out. :-)

LOL, I thought I was the only one that noticed that when I met her at Unity in D.C. Glad to see that I was not alone. Good looking out!

lol@greg...Jovan's is a nice spot but she might hit it up before we're able to introduce her to that.

lol@talia...I forgot to get your autograph...might be worth something in the future.

lol@simonsays...remind me to remember the Capital One commercials and the "answer is always no" when I think about helping someone move again. That is a tiresome job.
