1. Harold and Helen Lerner (pictured above) are the lucky winners of the recent $258 million Mega Millions jackpot. The winning ticket of (5, 16, 41, 46, 50 and Mega Ball 1) was purchased in Rutherford, N.J. For your information, the Lerners won the biggest lottery jackpot in New Jersey's history. I guess you can call me bitter but why does it seem like only old white people always win these things?
2. Geico auto insurance recently came back to New Jersey and has created a buzz with their new billboard campaign. I'm a Geico member and have been since 2003 and I can say the company's customer service is first-rate. I had Geico car insurance when i lived in New York and when I moved to New Jersey I decided to continue my affiliation with the green lizard. I was browsing the Geico website when i discovered some hateration.
Today GEICO and its affiliate companies—GEICO General Insurance Company, GEICO Indemnity Company, GEICO Casualty Company—provide auto, homeowner, and other types of property insurance to over 10 million customers in all states (excluding Massachusetts) and the District of Columbia.
So, why is my home state of Massachusetts not invited to this party?
3. My roommate, Ray, has apparently gone soft. The landlord and Ray had a peaceful face-to-face discussion on Tuesday. I'm not sure what was said between them but Ray is now turning off the lights in the apartment and has removed the furniture from the front porch. As you may remember, Ray was wanted by the landlord on several counts of energy abuse (for leaving the lights on in the apartment 24/7/365) and one count of indecent exposure (putting ugly ass furniture on the front porch).
Alright, that's all for now. I'm taking the weekend off as I've blogged for a week straight.

damnit, ray needs to stay angry so i can get some laughs!
get a couple of guinness drafts in his system and see if he doesn't start raging...it has always made me violent!
Good news... I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance LOL... No really, I did. Geico is great and I just got a new policy today. Oh, and the reason that they won't go to Mass. is because *cough*, they'll only insurance states with folks who.can.drive. LOL That'll be all, thanks :)
You shouldn't talk...since New Jersey was on Geico's shit list for a long time too....
1. After they've finished the required promotion for the lotto company Mr and Mrs Lerner will have to change their names and leave the country before some long lost relatives show up to collect.
2. That little green lizard would have to close up shop after paying ONE accident claim in Mass., people here drive sideways...And with the crime rate so high in DC, I wouldnt want to insure anybody over there either.
3. I think Ray's in love...either that, or your landlord's a Soprano and threatened him on Tuesday?!?!?
